Akshay-Katrina rain song washed away
Director scraps the sexy number
Much was said and written about it, so audiences who went to see “De Dana Dan” were a bit surprised not to find the sexy rain dance picturised on Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
Apparently, the song was scrapped by director Priyadarshan at the last minute as he felt that it did not fit in with the flow of the movie and also because it was hampering the length of the film.
The song appeared right before the climax of the film and Priyan found it out of place.
According to sources, both Akshay and Katrina have been disappointed by Priyadarshan’s decision.
For Katrina it was her first rain dance and hence she requested Priyadarshan to keep the song. But the filmmaker managed to convince her otherwise.
However, he has promised Katrina that if the film does well, he will definitely include the song later.
