The box-office goddess is smiling on Ranbir right now. After his debut film Saawariya went belly-up, he’s delivered three hits: Bachna Ae Haseeno, Wake Up Sid and, now, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. For Ajab, he’s reportedly received a cheque of Dhs5.9 million. Waay too much for a four-film-old actor, you say? But there are reasons – all four of them!

That smile

It melts women’s hearts, no matter how old or cynical they are. He’s got a smile that lights up the screen – why shouldn’t he get the money?

That body

When Ranbir dropped the towel in Saawariya – his female fans screamed one collective OOOH. Which other hero can dance so sexily in bathwear? Give him the money, we say!.

Ranbir belongs to the first family of B’wood.That name alone adds a zero or two to his cheque. Not fair, we know, but it happens. (Psst: Just ask Abhi.)

Ranbir stole the show from National Award-winning Konkona in Wake Up Sid! That’s not easy, as any Konkona fan will tell you again and again.
