Ghai plays peacemaker for Sunny and Shah Rukh
Warring actors finally make up
Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan had a fallout in the 90s during the making of “Darr” and had not been on talking terms ever since.
However, in true filmi style, the two made up at Subhash Ghai’s bash on Oct 24, thanks to Ghai’s initiative.
Sunny, who normally abstains from parties, was at the Showman’s bash as he is doing Ghai’s forthcoming film “Right Ya Wrong”. Shah Rukh has not worked with Ghai since “Pardes” but continues to have a good relationship with him, so was at the party.
At the bash Ghai took the opportunity to get them talking again after pulling Sunny over to where Shah Rukh was sitting and re-introducing them.
Subsequently, the two actors warmed up to one another and were seen chatting comfortably.
Incidentally, Oct 25 was Shah Rukh’s wedding anniversary and post midnight his friends at Ghai’s party gathered to wish him.
