Did Sridevi snub her sister-in-law?
Kapoor wives bring out their feud on the ramp
Sisters-in-law Sridevi and Maheep Kapoor brought out their fight in public at the ongoing HDIL Couture Week in Mumbai.
On the opening day of the event on Oct 12, four jewellery designers showcased their collections. Among them was Maheep Kapoor, Boney’s younger brother Sanjay Kapoor’s wife. However, her sister-in-law, Boney’s wife Sridevi, walked the ramp for another leading jewellery designer, Queenie Dhody.
This has been seen as Sridevi not just snubbing Maheep but also endorsing her rival.
While Maheep’s Facebook status indicated she was upset, she declined to comment on the issue when asked about it.
In Sridevi’s defence, Boney has said that Sri was not aware till quite late that Maheep was also showcasing her designs on the same day as Queenie. At that point she could not back out of her commitment to Queenie.
Sridevi and Maheep anyway have not been on talking terms for some time now, and this incident is likely to worsen their relationship.
