Farah, here’s our wishlist!

We love how Farah Khan gets in unusual themes and celebs on her TV chat show, Tere Mere Beach Mein. We enjoyed watching Salman and mum Salma on the show themed Mamma’s boy; we admired Priyanka and Olympian Vijender Kumar Singh on the episode centred on small town people with big dreams and we empathised with Vivek, Riteish and Sreesanth when they talked about that ONE mistake which changed their lives.

Because we’re so helpful at Masala!, we thought we’d suggest some more themes and names, simply because we want TMBM to do even better...

EX-LOVER-NOW-FRIEND

Starring: Kareena and Shahid Kapoor
Ummm… imagine where the show’s TRP would go if they talked about their break-up and then revealed how they continue to be friends?! They may not be very close, but they’ve always been civil to one another. We so respect this!

THE ULTIMATE SAAS-BAHU

Starring: Aishwarya and Jaya Bachchan
Oh! How much we would love to see the Bachchan bahu and saas in the show! Yeah, we know both are great actors, but let’s see how they do without a script. Will the claws come out or will we simply hear it’s-all-so-wonderful? (EEEKS! That fave Ash phrase!)

BESTIE-TURNED-ENEMY

Starring: Salman and Shah Rukh
They tell us why exactly they had THAT fight! And then – sob, sob – SRK smiles at Sallu and Sallu reaches out for a manly hug! End of the Khan War! TRP skyrockets!

THE INVISIBLE FILMMAKER

Starring: Aditya Chopra
Adi Chopra can hand out lessons on how to stay invisible despite being a part of showbiz for years and years. Maybe Farah can also get Rani to talk about what it is like to be friends with the ‘invisible’ man! So worth a watch!
