Kader Khan’s son back in Bollywood
Sarfaraz has three films coming up
He was the Aslam of “Tere Naam”, who stood by the character played by Salman Khan through his life. Now, actor Sarfaraz Khan (pictured above) is back with three films lined up for release this year.
Sarfaraz was earlier seen in “Kya Yahi Pya Hai”, “Maine Dil Tujhko Diya” and “Bazaar”.
A theatre buff, Sarfaraz, son of veteran actor Kader Khan, is also the man behind KKK International, called “Kal Ke Kalakaar”.
The films lined up for release this year have a lot in store for Sarfaraz.
The first film, Prabhu Deva-directed “Wanted”, sees character Aslam take this friendship forward to the next level, as part of Salman’s gang of four.
“It is a very beautiful role,” says Sarfaraz. “I love the shades of the character and it definitely is a step forward from ‘Tere Naam’, a film that I cherish close to my heart. Working with Salman bhai is always a treat.”
The next film, “Kisaan”, sees Sarfaraz move from being white to grey to black as Kaku the villain of the film.
“I am a villager who wants to get power and utilise if to the fullest. He has the body and not the mind. He uses his strength to gain that. It is a film where I am raw character, a complete contrast to my real personas,” says Sarfaraz.
Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Jackie Shroff, Diya Mirza, Nauheed Cyrusi form the rest of the cast in this Puneet Sira film.
The next film, Satish Kaushik’s “Milenge Milenge”, sees Sarfaraz as happy-go-lucky Ashish, Shahid Kapur’s best buddy who believes in the practicality of life but for whom destiny has a different story in store.
