SRK can’t dance...

Apparently, SRK was approached to take part at the closing ceremony but he turned the organisers down on account of his shoulder injury. The Morani brothers, who organised the finale, however, say, “Shah Rukh has been a part of most of our shows and it’s sad not to have him this time. Actually, he’s busy shooting and didn’t have dates for the event.”

Tch. Pity. Good thing the shoulder was ok earlier in the month when he danced at builder Kanti Govani’s nephew’s wedding for crores of rupees.

Sporting Katrina

Her team Bangalore Royals may have lost, but she proved that she was sporting enough to put up a decent dance show – the Pussycats’ version of Jai Ho, no less – at the Wanderers in Jo’Burg. Kat even joined reggae great Eddy Grant, Akon, Shiamak Davar and the omnipresent Lalit Modi (sigh!) as Grant belted out his anti-apartheid hit Gimme Hope Jo’anna.

Shilpa’s no time to practise

Shilpa’s performance at the finale was something that was trumpeted about quite a bit but on the big day she was a no-show. Her reasons: “I was just not prepared.
