Aamir Khan – most powerful man in Bollywood
Filmfare poll throws up shock results
Aamir Khan has been anointed the most powerful man in Bollywood by a film magazine poll.
But he has claimed that he is not interested in power.
He adds, “Power is how one uses it. I can be very powerful but if I can't use it for any good or can't contribute to the industry then I am actually powerless.
I would like to use my power by working with new directors, giving new actors to the industry and making experimental films.”
Aamir is also flexing his muscles in another direction.
He has retaliated to SRK’s recent comments against him in the media.
“I remember him (Shah Rukh) saying that he was joking about calling himself No 1. I find it very funny as I have never seen anyone proclaiming themselves as No 1.
Not Sachin Tendulkar, Not Lata Mangeshkar, not Vishwanathan Anand. I am saying all this in a light vein too.
But Shah Rukh’s sense of humour suddenly disappears when it comes to me.”
Aamir also mentioned that the recent spate of bad luck at the box office seems to have make Shah Rukh an embittered man.

Forget about Aamir? LOL! Salman's Dabangg only broke 3 Idiots first week record. It failed to match 3 Idiots overall record! 3 Idiots is still the highest grossing Hindi film of all time. Also, Aamir had only hits prior to Ghajini and 3 Idiots. Whereas Salman had mainly flops prior to Dabangg (except Wanted) in recent years. Aamir still reigns supreme!

This is not the correct result. How can Aamir become the 1st in the Powerlist with one hit film in2009? according to FF's own criteia there has to be more qualification to win this award. Only SRK had it. Did he not get selected to th 50 most powerful persons of the world this year? did he not get recognition from the Malaysian govenment with a DATUK? did his film RNBDJ become a blockbuster? T

I am not going to say he's a bad actor because it is very clear that he is very at what he does...but he is very annoying...SRK is much more likable...and such a great performer...he has given us such classic characters and such classic movies that I'm surprised at the result of this poll.
